Experience in Humanities 1301
For Destiny, Humanities 1301 with Professor Stacey Burleson became more than just another college course — it became a profound exploration of what it means to be human across time, culture, and artistic expression. As she looks back on the journey, Destiny carries with her not only new knowledge but a deepened sense of connection to the vast, intricate fabric of human history and creativity.
Under Professor Burleson’s thoughtful and engaging instruction, Destiny discovered that the humanities are not confined to dusty textbooks or museum walls; they are living conversations that stretch across centuries, inviting each generation to listen, reflect, and respond. Whether studying the soaring cathedrals of the Gothic age, the fierce individuality of the Renaissance, or the restless questioning of modern philosophy, Destiny came to see each work and movement as a window into the human soul — and, perhaps more importantly, into her own.
